Fruit puree

These are the necessary ingredients:

  • 100 gr of fruit puree, the most used are strawberries, orange and lemon. But you can also use other fruits and make more original jelly beans, such as kiwi, banana or mango, for example.
  • Half cup lemon juice
  • 2 envelope powdered gelatin, in neutral flavor
  • Some sweetener, honey, agave syrup, brown sugar, stevia (about two to three tablespoons)

You will also need a mold for your gummies, it is important that it be made of silicone so that they can be removed without problem. You can use molds for ice, for chocolates or with the shape that you like the most, as long as it is made of silicone and of a small size it will be perfect.

Preparation:

  • First we have to prepare the fruit, wash and peel all the pieces of fruit well chosen. Chop and place in the blender glass, crush all the fruit well.
  • We put the puree obtained in a saucepan and add the sweetener chosen, over a low heat and without stopping to stir so that it does not stick.
  • Add the neutral gelatin and continue stirring until the puree begins to be more consistent.
  • Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice, we stir well.
  • We put the mixture in the chosen molds and let it cool before putting it in the fridge.
