There are many options before making the cruel decision to abandon your pet to its fate. When you decide to adopt a pet, you should always do it knowing that from that moment on it will be an important part of your family. Because if you have a dog, cat, rabbit or other pet, they are also part of your family.
What values are you instilling in your children when if something bothers you, you simply abandon it regardless of their luck? Needless to say, how many hideous values are there in such a despicable act.
If you do not know what to do with your pet, you can have several options: hire someone to take him out for a walk and feed him every day in case it is a dog, who will pour water on your cats and, incidentally, give them affection, etc. There are also animal residences where they can be well cared for and cared for.
You can talk to family and friends about taking care of your pets until you return. Or also, in the case of dogs, you can plan your holidays taking into account that you have a dog and go to rural houses or hotels where animals are allowed.
Either option is acceptable before abandoning your pets. Because your pets are your children's playmates, they are part of your family, but they are also a fundamental part for the proper development of your children.
Never abandon an animal. If you think their care is too difficult, just don't have animals. Animals and living beings are not gifts ... they are and should be part of your family. If you do not think that you are responsible enough to take proper care of your pet, it is better that you do not have it.
