There are baby care basics that are sometimes not something that women think about during pregnancy. The good news is that taking care of a baby's basics needs, particularly as a newborn, is very simple. One of them is the Change of diapers which is probably the most dreaded of all baby care activities.
The truth of the matter is that diapering has gotten a lot easier as the years have passed. It doesn't matter if you use cloth or disposable diapers, they are easier to use and have more with less leakage than even 10 years ago.
The Disposable diapers they are everywhere. There are many brands to choose from in a variety of costs and features. But the basics of how to get the baby diaper is pretty much the same.
Gather all your supplies. The first step is to be prepared. Gather a couple of diapers, wipes, creams… everything that was needed to change the baby. First, place the baby in a specific area to change. This can be a table to change or modify pad. If you have a board, be sure to use the strap for baby's safety. Never leave a baby unattended while he or she is changing. Untie the old diaper, but don't remove it from under the baby just yet. This allows a certain margin of safety in case the cold air inspires baby to let go.
Then, hold the baby's ankles and carefully lift his bottom and begin to wash his bottom with the wet towels. If the area is very dirty you can use the front of the old diaper to remove some of the dirt. When finished with each wipe, gently in place under the baby (clean side up) for easy cleaning. When the baby's skin is clean pull the diaper and wipes from under the baby and keep them in reserve.
