Pregnancy dreams are ways that your subconscious communicates feelings that are more difficult to carry out in real life. 1. If you dream that you just conceived
No matter where you are within [your dream] pregnancy, it will directly reflect where you are in terms of some sort of new growth and development in your life. If you are about to conceive it means that you are also at that point in real life.
2. If you dream that you are in the third trimester
Loewenberg says that the gestation of the pregnancy in your dream is directly related to the progress of your goal or project. If you're in your third trimester, then you're about to reach the end of this road, and whatever you've been working on is about to come to fruition.
3. If you dream of having nausea
While morning sickness can be a natural part of pregnancy, its presence in a pregnancy dream could indicate emotional upset about something in your life. Something in this process of whatever you're working on, it could even be in a relationship, doesn't feel right to you. So you have to ask yourself, okay, is this just a natural process of this project, this relationship, this title, whatever, or is it something that makes me feel unnecessarily uncomfortable or wrong? Is there something I need to look at and correct?
4. If you dream that you are pregnant with twins or triplets
Maybe you have two things in mind, or maybe there are multiple aspects to this one thing. It may seem like you are juggling a lot of things and your subconscious is passing it on to you in the form of multiple fetuses.
5. If you dream that you give birth but somehow you lose it (it dies, you don't see it anymore...)
That would indicate a warning from your subconscious that something you have been working on. Keep an eye on this because it's something you grew up with and worked on. Don't underestimate its importance. Don't lose sight of it.
6. If you dream that you are pregnant with a non-human baby
That would indicate that this new development in your life is something that seems strange to you. It's not something you've done before. You feel strange, it is not something familiar to you. It is a message from your subconscious that you need to familiarize yourself with this new situation.
7. If you dream that your ex got you pregnant
Dreaming about the ex is, I would almost say, as common as the pregnancy dream. Having said that, if you dream that your ex got you pregnant, it is a very good indication that you have learned a lot from that relationship. In some way, that relationship has allowed you to give birth to a new part of yourself. The pregnancy would represent all this new knowledge and wisdom that is growing and developing within you, thanks to that ex.
8. If you dream that you go into labor but do not feel pain
In these cases in which you dream of being in labor without any pain, it is like saying, nothing happens, it is a piece of cake. Your subconscious tells you not to worry, it's not going to be painful in any way. Just finish that project.
9. When you dream that you have pain during childbirth
When you feel pain in a dream, it is usually related to emotional pain in real life. So this could be telling you that you're starting to get emotionally drained, but then again, you're also late in pregnancy. So you know, keep pushing. You're almost there.
10. If you dream of having an ugly baby
While babies are beautiful in their own way, you may find yourself in a dream where you are pregnant or giving birth to a rather ugly baby. This type of dream can indicate that there is a new element in your life that you dislike. Your subconscious is saying, there is an unpleasant situation that has developed in your life, but you yourself have caused it. You are the one who gave birth to this.
11. If you dream that you give birth through an unusual part of the body
You may think that dreaming of having a baby through your hands can be completely random, but those little details can help you discover the meaning of your dream. You should pay close attention to the part of your body where the baby comes out, because your subconscious chose that part for a reason. Then ask yourself: What is this part of the body used for? The head is used for thought and ideas. So [that] dream is about giving birth to a new way of thinking.
Ultimately, your dreams (pregnancy related or not) are insights into things you've been thinking about or dealing with in recent memory. When you wake up in the morning and try to remember your dream and examine it, the best thing you can do is compare everything in the dream with what happened to you yesterday, compare the emotions in your dream with how you felt yesterday.
