This type of dessert is ideal to make with children, since it is not necessary to use complicated or dangerous kitchen utensils. There are many, many ways to prepare gelatin, almost all of them very simple. Today we are going to see how to prepare somewhat more elaborate gelatin desserts, so you can have a fun time with your children preparing this sweet. It is summer time, heat and vacations, a perfect time to spend a few minutes doing activities with the children.

The ingredients you need to make this dessert are:

  • 2 half cups with cold water, in two containers
  • half cup boiling water, separated into two containers
  • 1 bowl of grapes, preferably green, without skin or seeds, cut in half
  • 1 bowl of strawberries cut into somewhat thick sheets
  • 2 packs of strawberry jelly
  • 1 pack of Lemon Jelly
  • 1 pack of neutral gelatin
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of liquid cream pastry
  • essence of vanilla
  • half cup sugar

We are going to start with the preparation of the gelatin, first prepare a somewhat large container with half a cup of boiling water and the lemon jelly. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Add 3/4 of cold water and stir again. Finally, add the green grapes.

Prepare the mold you have chosen, so that it does not stick, paint with a little preferably coconut oil. If you don't have one, extra virgin olive oil will be served. You only need a few drops, spread well with the help of a kitchen brush or with absorbent paper. Add the mixture that you already have made and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Now, prepare the neutral gelatin in a cup with 1/4 of cold water and reserve while it rests for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, we are going to prepare the cream layer. Place a medium saucepan over the fire with milk, sugar and neutral gelatin that you just prepared. Stir well and heat over medium heat so that the milk does not stick. Remove from the heat and stir until the sugar dissolves completely, let it rest for about 5 minutes.

After this time, incorporate cream and a teaspoon of vanilla essence and mix everything very well with a mixer. Pour the whole mixture over the lemon gelatin layer, once it is well set. Reserve again in the refrigerator for another half hour at least.

In another container, prepare the strawberry jelly with the boiling water that was left over. Stir well until completely dissolved. Add the remaining cold water and the strawberry slices. Once the previous two layers of the cake are well set, add the strawberry mixture and return to the refrigerator. This time, for at least 4 or 5 hours until all the dessert is well set.

This recipe is perfect to make with children, it takes a few minutes and it is a delicious dessert. The ingredients you need are:

  • 1 envelope of strawberry jelly
  • 2 sachets of unflavored gelatin
  • 2 strawberry yogurts
  • half a cup of condensed milk
  • water

First dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1/4 of boiling water, stir well until it dissolves and add half a cup of cold water. Prepare the containers where you are going to make the popsicles, some plastic cups can be used. Incorporates a tablespoon of the strawberry jelly in each glass. Reserve in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

In a saucepan add 100 ml of water and 1 sachet of unflavored gelatin, heat over medium heat until it dissolves completely. Remove the saucepan from the heat, Add the strawberry yogurt and mix everything very well. Let the mixture cool for a while, until it is warm. Then, add a tablespoon of this preparation in each glass, put it back in the refrigerator for another half hour.

Finally, place a glass of water in a saucepan and the remaining gelatin envelope, heat over low heat until it dissolves. Add the condensed milk and stir well, let it cool at room temperature, until it is warm. Place a tablespoon of this mixture in each glass and place a toothpick in the center of each container of icecream. Leave in the fridge for 3-4 hours until all the layers are well set.
