Rice flour

To prepare this gluten-free brownie, you will need some ingredients that initially contain this substance. So you will have to make sure you buy the right products before you start cooking. Nowadays it is easy to find all kinds of gluten-free products, so it should not cost you too much to get the ingredients that you will need for this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 40 gr rice flour (rice is gluten-free, so it's perfect for this recipe)
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 gr butter
  • 200 gr gluten-free fondant chocolate, preferably black but you can also use milk chocolate
  • a tablespoon of gluten-free cocoa powder
  • 150 gr sugar
  • a cup of nuts chopped

Preparation:

  • We cut the chocolate bar with our hands and place in a saucepan together with the butter.
  • We melt the chocolate over low heat, without stopping to stir so that it does not stick to the bottom of the saucepan.
  • In a bowl, we will beat the eggs with the sugar until they are well integrated.
  • Next, we add the rice flour and mix gently with a spatula.
  • We also incorporate the cocoa powder, mixing with enveloping movements, without beating mass.
  • Lastly, we are going to add the chopped walnuts. If you have very young children, be sure to chop them into very small pieces.
  • It's time turn on the oven so that it preheats, we put it at maximum temperature to make it faster.
  • Now we are going to line a wide tray and with a low bottom. We use a sheet of greaseproof paper, which we will lightly wet beforehand so that it stays well fixed at the base of the fountain.
  • We dump the brownie mixture and with a spatula we spread well all over the tray.
  • We introduce the tray in the oven and lower the temperature to 180º, let bake the brownie for about 30 minutes, until completely cooked.

To know if the brownie is ready on the inside, you just have to use the sponge cake technique. Namely, prick with a toothpick in the center. If the toothpick comes out clean, it means that it is already perfectly cooked. If it comes out with sticky dough, you will have to leave it in the oven for a few more minutes.

More chocolate for the gluten-free brownie

Cooking with children

The brownie itself is already a chocolate bomb, its name indicates it, but if you are a fan of chocolate and want to surprise the little ones, do not miss this trick. When you have the brownie dough ready and spread out on the baking sheet, introduce some pieces of whole chocolate distributed all over the tray. You just have to put ounces of dark chocolate.

This type of chocolate is more difficult to melt, so when baking the brownie, It will be very tender but without getting mixed with the rest of the dough. This means that when you bite into the cake, the chocolate will be creamier and looser in the center. That is, a delicious touch with which you will surprise your family. Of course, you will have to use a gluten-free chocolate again.

To serve the gluten-free brownie, cut into medium-sized squares and sprinkle icing sugar on top. A sweet suitable for celiacs and perfect to enjoy a homemade snack with the family.
